2022 International Conference on Image Processing and Media Computing (ICIPMC 2022) which is co-sponsored by Northwestern Polytechnical University, Media Computing Committee of Shaanxi Computer Society and Shaanxi Society of Image and Graphics has been held successfully in Xi'an, China (in virtual) during May 27-29, 2022. The delegates from China, India, UAE, Sri Lanka, Canada, Jordan, Italy, Thailand, UK, etc. participated and presented in the conference. The accepted papers of ICIPMC 2022 published in ICIPMC 2022 Conference Proceedings, which were archived in IEEE Xplore, and indexed by Ei Compendex and Scopus.

During the conference, the organizing committee members participated in the conference. The General Chair-Prof. Xiaoyi Feng, Northwestern Polytechnical University gave the official opening remarks. Prof. Huiyu Zhou from University of Leicester and Prof. Wangmeng Zuo from Harbin Institute of Technology shared their research work by keynote speech, Prof. Suzaimah Ramli from National Defence University of Malaysia shared her research work by invited speech.

Eight sessions were successfully held under the joint efforts of session chairs and all presenters. The session chairs selected 8 best oral presentations from the session. In addition, the organizing committee selected two papers and awarded as the best paper.
